By using Candle Prediction you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Candle Prediction is not financial advice. It produces statistical probabilities from historical patterns. It does not know what will happen, it is frequently wrong, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Never make a financial decision because this app showed you a number.
What the app does
You photograph a price chart, or pick a market from a list. Candle Prediction reads the candles, compares the shape against a large set of historical patterns, and returns probabilities, a price range and a confidence score.
For stocks and funds Candle Prediction shows an expected range and deliberately shows no direction, because we measured that we cannot predict which way they move better than a coin flip. Saying so is part of the product.
Accuracy, stated honestly
Our published measurements come from backtests on held-out historical data, and we report them with confidence intervals rather than headline numbers. Directional accuracy sits close to a coin flip: a few points either side of the market's own tendency to drift. The confidence score exists precisely so that a weak forecast looks weak.
Past performance in a backtest does not predict future results. Markets change, and a model that worked in one period can fail in the next.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not attempt to bypass credit limits, automate access, or resell forecasts.
Credits and purchases
Scans cost credits. New accounts receive a small number free. Credits are a licence to use the service, not property or currency, they have no cash value, and they cannot be transferred or refunded for cash.
If a scan fails through our fault, the credit is returned automatically. Where purchases are offered through an app store, that store's refund policy applies and refunds are handled by them, not by us.
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. Market data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
Limitation of liability
Candle Prediction is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on anything it displays. You use it at your own risk, and any financial decision you make is yours alone.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
